At MGY, we are proud of our connection to Welsh rugby and we are fortunate to provide professional estate agency services to several of our highly-regarded clients, who are also high-profile Welsh players. What’s more we enjoy sharing that privilege with our broader customer base and charities, where we can, so that they too may see the benefits of such relationships.
In line with this thinking, from May to July this year, we ran our ‘Play the Home Game’ competition in parallel with the British & Irish Lions 2017 New Zealand Tour. The draw gave our valued clients the opportunity to win one of three framed and signed Lions Jerseys, courtesy of Leigh Halfpenny, in return for which we would donate £300 to Velindre Fundraising in Cardiff.
The prize draw giveaway was promoted on Twitter and Facebook with all three MGY offices participating – Radyr, the Heath and the Bay. Clients whose properties were listed for sale or rent with us through any of our offices during this period were automatically entered.
The prize jerseys recently touched down on Welsh soil, having accompanied the Lions team as they toured in the Southern hemisphere, and the MGY ‘Play the Home Game’ British & Irish Lions Tour 2017 giveaway winners were subsequently drawn and announced on Twitter and Facebook.
We would like to extend our thanks to all our valued customers who took part in the prize draw and wish to congratulate the winners and thank them for their patience. In the words of our Director James Thomas, “We hope that our winning clients enjoy their framed British & Irish Lion jerseys and that they take great pride in their authenticity, knowing that they have toured the other side of the world with the team in 2017”.
We wish to express our gratitude to Leigh, both for donating the shirts and for arranging their signing, and we look forward to making our financial donation to Velindre.
