MGY to Scale Pen y Fan in Sponsored Walk for Alzheimer’s
As a business with three offices that have grown and developed in the heart of Cardiff’s communities, MGY views its corporate social responsibility seriously. The company takes great pride in encouraging the participation of staff, friends and family in fundraising football matches, sponsored rowathons and the like, to support local charities.
This spring, the Company has set their sights even higher, with an ambitious goal of walking 886 metres above sea level to summit Pen y Fan in the Brecon Beacons National Park on Sunday 29 April 2018 (come rain or shine). And this time, not only are MGY customers invited to join in but they may even be accompanied by a high-profile mystery Welsh sports personality!
The target for the charity walk has been set at £540 and proceeds will be wholly donated to the Alzheimer’s society whose vision is a world without dementia. Did you know that dementia not a natural part of ageing and is not just about losing your memory? Although dementia is caused by diseases of the brain, people can still live well with dementia and the Alzheimer’s Society is there for anyone affected. You can find out more at alzheimers.org.uk
