This MGY Pass the Parcel Festive Giveaway prize draw is promoted by Michael Graham Young (the “Promoter”). Registered in England and Wales under company number 04353056 and with its registered office at 6 Station Road, Radyr, Cardiff, CF15 8AA.

The competition will run on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram (with mechanics on this – the Promoter’s – website).

The competition opens at 00:01 am on 9th November 2020 and the competition Closes at 23:59 pm on 18th December 2020.

The winner will be randomly chosen, announced and notified after 22nd December 2020.

While the competition is run through social media providers Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, this in no way implies that it is: sponsored, endorsed administered by, associated with, or linked in any way to the Promoter.

The Promoter is offering entrants into this promotional competition the opportunity to be entered into a draw to win the following “prize”:

· John Lewis Voucher to the value of £400.

· Plus the Promoter will make a £400 donation to The Wallich Homeless charity.

No cash alternative will be offered and the prize is non-refundable, non-transferable and non-exchangeable. The Promoter reserves the right to offer alternative prizes of equal or greater value.

Entrants must be aged 18 years or over and must be UK residents.

No purchase is necessary to enter this promotional competition, however, in order to enter the prize draw entrants must:

· On Instagram: Follow our account, like, tag us and share one or more of our Pass the Parcel Festive promotion posts.

· On Twitter: Like our Pass the Parcel festive giveaway post and tag others to pass it on. Be sure to tag us @MGYCardiff.

· On Facebook: Like our main MGY page and like and share our MGY Pass the Parcel Festive giveaway post to pass it on.

In order to be deemed admissible, social media posts entering the competition must be made during the following period: The promotional competition opens 00:01 am on 16th November 2020. Competition Closes 23:59 pm on 18th December 2020 (the “promotional period”).

The Promoter, their employees, their families, agents or anyone else connected with this prize draw, is prohibited from entry into the prize draw. However, they may participate in the sharing of social media posts pertaining to the competition.

If the Promoter, in its sole discretion, considers that there has been an unreasonable attempt to manipulate or tamper with the operation of the promotional competition, the Promoter may disqualify such entries.

The Promoter reserves the right to temporarily or permanently, modify or discontinue this

promotional competition without notice, should unforeseen circumstances or circumstances outside its reasonable control arise.

The prize winner will be randomly selected using the social media ‘handles’ of participants who sent valid posts to MGY social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook and Instagram) during the promotional competition period.

This random selection will take place within 30 days of the end of the promotional competition period.

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for computer, network or software failures of any kind and has no responsibility for missing or misdirected entries.

The winner will initially be contacted via social media to inform them of their success, they will be required to direct message by return or contact one of the Promoter’s three MGY offices by telephone.

A date will be arranged for the winner to collect their prize from one of the three MGY offices in Radyr, The Heath or Cardiff Bay (addresses are available on the Promotor’s website).

The prize winner will be announced to the public on the promotor’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts and website within 30 days of the end of the promotional competition period.

The Promoter will make the charitable donation to the Wallich Homeless Charity within 60 days of the winner being announced.

If a winner does not respond to the notice that they have won within 10 days of the competition closing, or declines the prize, the ‘handles’ of remaining valid posts will be redrawn at random and the new winner announced. This 10-day period may be extended at the Promoter’s sole discretion. In either event, a winner that fails to respond within the required period or who decline the prize, will forfeit any right to the prize or any future prizes.

By entering the promotion, participants approve of the Promoter naming them on the Promoter’s social media channels (and on the Promoter’s website), sharing, using or forwarding photographs and announcing the names of the winner and that they have won.

The winner is reasonably expected to agree to appear in photographs publicizing their win, showing the handover of the prize(s) and potentially providing a statement or quote on their win. The winner will be required to give the Promoter full photographic use and copyright of such photographs/quotes which will be circulated on the Promoter’s social media channels, the Promoter’s website, and other communications and media as the Promoter deems fit.

By participating in this promotional competition, entrants agree that the Promoter may store and use the pics and data supplied (including names) to publicly announce the winner via Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and on the Promoter’s website – as well as in other publicity materials that the Promoter might deem fit.

The Promoter will not use entrants’ personal data (social media handles) for any purposes except to facilitate the promotional competition.

The decisions of the Promoter are final and binding in all matters relating to the promotional competition. Entrants agree to be bound by the competition terms and conditions. The Promoter will not enter into any correspondence pertaining to its decisions.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed exclusively in accordance with the laws of England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales, including the seeking of all injunctive or ancillary relief actions.
